Black Belt

 

  In 2012, I began working and training at Kicks Karate. Through out this time, I've earned my Black Belt, and I've also helped many others begin their Martial Arts Journey. Thank you to Daniel Beckford, Lana Bussard, and Master John Bussard for helping me make one of my biggest childhood dreams a reality. And if you have dreams for yourself or your children, remember that it's never to late, or too early too start on that road towards making your dreams come true.

Here's the completed illustration. This drawing was inspired by a very talented young martial arts student whose made a commitment to earning his Black Belt.

The return of New Page Tuesdays

New Page Tuesdayz: This is a sketch drawing of a young karate student for an unfinished project that I've been working on.

 

 Well, I'm finally back. Just went through a tough personal ordeal that I am glad is behind me. Reminded me how blessed we are to have each day as a gift. Today also happens to be the 4 year anniversary of my publishing imprint. This year I plan to revise art that I've been working on over the years (like the one in this picture), as well as release new art, that I hope ya'll will enjoy seeing. Take care, and stay blessed.

M Street Battlez Turns 2!

Today is the 2 year Anniversary of M Street Battles! I've changed the name of the book to Major Miyzyim Man, to focus the attention of the book on the main character, who will make his first appearance in the next few pages. Here's a look @ the updated sketch cover.

 So to help in that transition, the tittle of this book will now be:

Today is the 3rd Anniversary of Miyzyim Publishing. We have been through many changes in names, logos, as well as projects, and we've come a very long way! So on this day, I'd like to release a sketch of my latest and most important character.

 

 His name is Major Miyzyim Man. He comes from the land of Miyzyim, and he is destined for greatness!!!

Kicks Karate

One year ago, I began training at Kicks Karate. It's been an amazing journey, and I was recently told by my Instructors that I will be testing for my Black Belt on May 18th.

I've worked very hard to earn this honor, and will continue to train hard for my belt exam, as well as after.
