M STREET BATTLEZ #1

At this time, two months ago, I posted the preview issue to M Street Battlez #1. And I'm finally posting the rest of the first issue now. Words can't describe how much energy I've put into creating this book. I just wanted something that would be worth your time to read, and I think that I've accomplished that. I really wanted to post this before New Years, and with only minutes left in 2011, here it is. I hope you enjoy the book, and HAPPY NEW YEARS!

New Page Tuesdays 12/27

For this weeks New Page Tuesdays I'm posting the art from page 4 of M Street Battlez #1.

This is the highly anticipated battle scene between Magna Man, Mirlin Punk, the Vampires, and Werewolves. Took quite a while to draw, so I hope ya'll like it. 

FIRST BOOK SIGNING UPDATE

Well, I had my first book signing yesterday and it was a complete. disaster. lol. Let's just say that everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. But I learned enough from it to insure that my next signing will be a success. Thank you to all who showed up. I appreciate it. The next one will be EPIC! I promise.

NEW PAGE TUESDAYS 12/13/11

For this weeks new page Tuesdays, I'm posting the color splashed Remus print.

The explanation behind the blue and orange color splash has a lot to do with the colors of the character. The blue disc in the collar symbolizes the rare blue moon, under which Remus is at his strongest, hence the tag line "BE WERE OF THE BLUE MOON". The orange splash represents the color of his fur, and the fangs were extracted from the mouth of a slain giant vampire. Simply put, the wearer of this color is not to be messed with.

Today's date is 11/11/11. And the time is  11:11pm, and 11seconds as I began to write this post. I happen to be posting .11% of the 1st Issue of my 1st comic book called M Street Battlez. So I don't know... I guess the time just feels right.

Today is officially the very first New Page Tuesday. Every Tuesday new art will be posted fresh off the drawing board! Starting with Page 1 & 4 of the first issue of M.Street Battlez.

This is page 1, featuring a fight scene between Remus, and Drakus. 

Remus is the Wolf Character, and Drakus is a Vampire. I'm still working on some designs for Drakus...

This is Page 4 featuring Mirlin Punk diving into action.

I still have to add another main character to this page who is actually the STAR of the show! Guess ya'll get to see him next week... 

MPULZION turns ONE

It all started a year ago on this day... On 10/10/10 I started a small publishing company called MPulzion Publishing. The objective was to release projects through a self-owned company in order to keep ownership of the rights. The first project was a mix-tape called Return of the MI, released on 1/24/11, my 28th birthday.

I eventually took it off the Internet because I wanted to make a few more changes, but I'll be re-release it soon. The second release was going to an art project that involved hip-hop artist.

I had to put that project on hold because of some legal concerns with using celebrity images. It'll eventually be revisited once I've learn about the legal aspects of releasing it. So on 10/10/11, the company's first anniversary, after one year, and two false starts, I'm proud to announce that MPULZION is finally ready to release it's first official project. It's a comic book called M Street Battlez, and it will be released online on 11/11/11.

I'm currently working on the pages, and I'll keep ya'll posted on the progress. Stay tuned...
